The pandemic seems to have hit the fast-forward button on the evolution of work. Encouraged by the possibility of working remotely, Americans moved to the suburbs in droves. Now, wanting to keep their commute-free lifestyle, they need an office space closer to their picket fence – which is where coworking spaces come into play.

With this in mind, our researchers at CoworkingCafe set out to determine exactly which American suburbs cater best to the work needs of their residents by boasting the most coworking spaces. For this purpose, we leveraged proprietary data pinpointing the suburbs that log at least 10 coworking spaces each and we determined that there are 37 ones across the country that meet this requirement.

• The Atlanta metro area logs an impressive total of 77 coworking spaces among 24 suburban areas.

• Alpharetta ranks 9^th on our list of top 37 suburbs, checking 14 coworking spaces.

• Nationally, Irvine, CA, located in the Los Angeles metro area, is the leading suburb in terms of coworking spaces with a total of 91 spaces.

• 44% of the total national number of coworking spaces belong to the suburbs, while the rest is concentrated in bustling urban cores.
