Recently, the Georgia Association of Business Brokers (GABB) named twelve business brokerage firms in Georgia as members of the 2022 Million Dollar Club. The purpose of the GABB Million Dollar Club is to recognize professional business brokers in Georgia for successfully closing business acquisition transactions totaling one million dollars or more. This year’s group of brokers was responsible for orchestrating the sale of small, medium, and large businesses equivalent to more than $96 million.

Jeffery Merry, Sr., M.B.A., J.D, founder of The Business House, Inc, was one such GABB member to be named to the 2022 Million Dollar Club. Jeffery is a past president of GABB, has been GABB’s top producer on numerous occasions, and has been a part of the Million Dollar Club each year since its inception in 1999. As a business intermediary, Certified Exit Planner, and consultant, Mr. Merry has been involved in mergers and acquisitions that have ranged in acquisition price from $60,000 to more than $15 million. He was also the first recipient of the GABB Phoenix Award for being a million-dollar seller for 17 years and during this year’s ceremony, he was honored as a Silver Phoenix Member of the Million Dollar Club for achieving more than a million dollars in sales for any 25 years. Further, Mr. Merry is also a member of the International Association of Business Brokers, cementing his status as a leading expert in the industry.
