Chamberlain Hrdlicka Welcomes New Trust and Estate Associate Emily Dabney to Atlanta Office

Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce the addition of Trust and Estate Associate Emily A. Dabney to its Atlanta office. She joins the firm’s Estate & Income Tax Planning & Estate Administration practice group, one of the largest and most accomplished estate planning and administration groups in the South and Southwest. There, Dabney will work with individuals, families and business owners to understand their unique needs and assist in crafting an estate plan that not only honors their past but also helps them prepare for the future. She will also work alongside other practice members to assist clients in developing individualized estate plans that reduce financial burdens and protect future generations.

Prior to joining the firm, Dabney served as an associate with an estate planning and business law firm where she supported the formation of corporations and nonprofit entities, counseled clients on tax code provisions and planning strategies and assisted on federal and state tax law matters. She also served as a legal extern with an entertainment firm, drafting sound recording agreements, licensing agreements and agreement termination letters.

While in law school, she was an extern with the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Georgia, where she researched and drafted memorandums on possible violations of the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act and assisted in reviewing documents on complex multi-state litigations. During this time, she also participated in the Emory Moot Court Society. Dabney started her law career serving as a judicial intern to U.S. District Court Judge the Honorable Jose E. Martinez in the Southern District of Florida.
