SignatureFD, an award-winning wealth management and financial advisory firm that helps clients transform their net worth into Net Worthwhile™, recently announced the addition of Tim Maurer, CFP^®, RLP^®, as SignatureFD’s new Chief Advisory officer.

Maurer, a regular columnist for Forbes and CNBC and the author of the book, Simple Money, understands and writes about the connective tissues between wealth management and behavioral science. This aligns with how SignatureFD partners with clients to "activate" their wealth in four key areas: Grow, Protect, Give, and Live. Anchoring in these core pillars offers a level of transparency to wealth management, enabling clients to understand better how they can use their wealth to achieve their goals and impact the things that matter most to them – what SignatureFD calls Net Worthwhile™.

Uniquely suited for this role, Maurer followed his many years as an advisor to lead Buckingham Wealth Partners’ advisor development program. Maurer then served as the Head of Wealth Management for Triad Financial Advisors. Additionally, he spearheaded the creation of and taught the Fundamentals of Financial Planning course for Towson University.
