Aprio, LLP, nationally recognized business advisory and CPA firm, announced today that Cheri Husney has joined the firm as Chief Growth Officer.

As Aprio’s Chief Growth Officer, Husney will guide the firm’s move into new, strategic markets and services, as well as support the acquisition of the best talent and mergers with firms to fuel Aprio’s growth. Partnering with industry practice leaders, she will drive national marketing strategy and business development vision to expand on the firm’s robust and growing presence across the U.S. Husney brings deep advisory firm experience, having spent nearly 20 years with KPMG. Her immediate former role was as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer with global law firm, Littler Mendelson.

Based in Atlanta, Husney is an active member in her community, serving as a Board Member and past President of OnBoard Inc., a non-profit organization with the goal of increasing the number of women in executive leadership and on corporate boards in Georgia. She also regularly volunteers as a mentor with Atlanta-based Pathbuilder’s, Inc., an organization focused on transforming women leaders.
