May at the Fox Theatre brings a lineup of anticipated performances planned to include Gipsy Kings, Seal, Fox Theatre benefit concert featuring Collective Soul, Mother’s Finest, Drivin N Cryin and Jet Black Roses, Mother’s Day Celebration Concert, “Bluey’s Big Play”, Julieta Venegas, “Hairspray” and Fox Theatre Tours. The historic Atlanta venue offers guests entertainment of all genres. Whether they are into the Architecture and History of the Fox Theatre, it’s famous organ the “Mighty Mo” or a more behind -the-scenes experience, the Fox has a tour for every type of fan. Guests are invited to grab a friend and take one, two or all three regular standing tours happening at the iconic Fox Theatre.
Gipsy Kings


Friday, May 5 at 7 p.m.
Over the years, the music of the Gipsy Kings incorporates elements of Latin and Cuban styles, Arabic music, reggae and jazz guitar reminiscent of the French Gypsy master Django Reinhardt. Yet, as heard on the new album, SAVOR FLAMENCO, they have never lost their intense connection to the traditional flamenco of their heritage, keeping a spotlight on Tonino Baliardo’s fluid guitar work and Nicolas Reyes’s powerful vocals.


SEAL
Saturday, May 6 at 7 p.m.
The 30th Anniversary Tour will commemorate three decades of his landmark self-titled debut album Seal (1991) and eponymous follow-up Seal II (1994). He will be performing the records in their entirety for the first time, delivering a set highlighted by classic chart-topping anthems such as “Crazy,” “Future Love Paradise,” “Killer,” and “Kiss from A Rose.” Guests can expect soul staples and standards peppered throughout the set, showcasing the full spectrum of his incredible repertoire.


Revival: Celebrating Georgia’s Historic Theatres (Fox Theatre Benefit Concert)
Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m.
The Fox Theatre is celebrating 15 years of preservation efforts with their third annual benefit concert REVIVAL-Celebrating Georgia's Historic Theatres on May 13. Hosted again by Atlanta native and famed musician, Kevn Kinney, the concert will feature Collective Soul, Mother's Finest, Drivin N Cryin, Jet Black Roses along with special guests Peter Buck, David Ryan Harris, Lenny Kaye, and more! Guests will have the opportunity to participate in fundraising activities like a live Fund-A-Mission from the stage by a certified “rocktioneer”. Mother’s Day Celebration

Featuring gospel music’s biggest names, the annual Mother’s Day Celebration returns to Atlanta this Mother’s Day. The artist line-up includes Marvin Sapp, LeAndria Johnson, Shirley Caesar and Charles Jenkins.


Bluey’s Big Play
