JLL Atlanta Hires Amanda Madrid as Senior Vice President of Property Management

Tuesday, July 11th, 2023

JLL today announces Amanda Madrid has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as Senior Vice President where she will apply more than 30 years of experience in property and asset management to grow the team’s Southeast portfolio. Madrid will also be focused on reducing operating expenses for clients and supporting leasing teams in their efforts to attract and retain tenants. Since 2016, JLL’s property management team in the Southeast has grown by 120 people and increased its portfolio by 46 million square feet.

Madrid joins JLL from Cushman & Wakefield where she most recently served as managing director. As Senior Vice President at JLL, she will focus on the North Fulton submarket, as well as creative office and life sciences assignments, where she will foster relationships with owners, tenants, brokers, service partners, associations and the greater community to generate value for CRE investors. Throughout her career, Madrid has gained extensive knowledge of implementing and overseeing operational teams, managing assets, and supporting overall market growth.

The importance of Madrid’s hire underscores the ongoing evolution of the office sector in response to economic headwinds. Within the past year, office owners are placing a new focus on tenant and employee retention and increasing value at existing assets. Using her vast industry knowledge to identify retention opportunities for clients, Madrid will work closely with leasing teams to drive activity.

“As organizations continue to navigate return-to-office obstacles post-pandemic, we intently focused on assisting clients to empower their employees and build value through their existing assets,” said Randy Fink, JLL Atlanta’s Managing Director of Property and Asset Management. “Amanda embodies what it means to set and achieve ambitious goals, while simultaneously maintaining and nurturing meaningful relationships along the way. At JLL, we are proud of our culture of supporting both our clients and employees through thick and thin – a quality that allows us to bring in top talent like Amanda.”

Under Fink’s leadership, JLL’s property management group has seen continued success across the Southeast through its ability to create operational, financial and engagement solutions across industrial,  office, mixed-use, research and corporate facility assets. Recent wins include Realco’s 440,113-square-foot portfolio that spans eight buildings across Peachtree Corners, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Suwanee; Manulife’s 1 million-square-foot industrial asset in Locust Grove; and Clarion’s 915,000-square-foot industrial properties in Buford and Austell.

“JLL has established a culture that prioritizes an individual’s values and empowers them to succeed with an abundance of resources,” said Madrid. “Randy is dedicated to furthering these qualities among his team, and the benefits are evident in the unparalleled value JLL brings its clients. I am proud to work with such a talented group and look forward to exceeding the goals of our clients while also continuing to grow our Southeast portfolio.”
