Magnitude 2.0 Earthquake Shakes North Georgia

The United States Geological Survey confirmed an earthquake struck in Whitfield County late Tuesday afternoon.
The quake struck at 4:11 p.m. at a depth of about 10 miles. The earthquake registered at a magnitude of 2.0, about 2 miles south of Varnell.
