Food, Fishing, Football, and First Looks Take Center Stage at Fall 2023 Lake Lanier Boat Show

Monday, September 18th, 2023

Involving so much more than boat ownership, “lake life” is a culture many in the South enjoy. Organizers of the Fall 2023 Lake Lanier Boat Show are endeavoring to create an unmatched three-day “lake life” experience just off the beaches of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands. Hosted Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, the Marine Trade Association of Metro Atlanta hopes to provide a combined sneak peek at this unique culture for aspiring boaters and a “lake life” celebration for those who already know it well. Featuring first looks at 2024 boat models, the event will also comprise great food, fishing seminars, football on the big screen, opportunities to shop “lake life” vendors, live music from talented Southern artists, and fireworks over the lake after the close of the show on Saturday, September 30.

“Planning a Fall event in the South is no small feat,” said Tabor Reins, President of MTAMA. “The lineup we’ve created – from our vendors and boat brands to our fishing experts and musicians – make this THE event of the season for anyone who loves the lake. While the setting of the pristine white beaches and docks of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands always create an ideal backdrop for Georgia’s Premier In-Water Boat Show, we will benefit from one of the venue’s features like never before. When Georgia takes the field against Auburn on Saturday afternoon, the game will be displayed on Margaritaville’s HD Big Screen – which soars five stories above the beach and features an incredible sound system. If you plan to come to the show on Saturday, come early to tour the docks, grab some great food, listen to some incredible music, and then grab a spot on the beach to watch the game. It’ll be the next best thing to being at the game and is sure to blow any sports bar experience out of the water.”

At the show’s core, over 250 boats representing more than 50 brands from 18 dealers will line the docks of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands. Reins invites attendees to be among the first to own a 2024 boat model or choose from a wide selection of 2023 boat models offering exceptional value at the Fall 2023 Lake Lanier Boat Show.
