Isakson Living Adds Vice President Health Care Greg Heath

Isakson Living has named long-time Atlanta health care leader Greg Heath as vice president health care for the developer and operator of the Southeast’s premier life plan communities. He will concurrently serve as executive director of assisted living and memory care for The Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place. Reporting to Isakson Living founder and managing partner Andy Isakson, Heath will be charged with administering and coordinating the operations of the health care divisions of all Isakson Living communities to ensure proper management, effective operation and consistent delivery of patient care services in accordance with strict health standards and departmental policies and procedures.

“The hallmark of Isakson Living’s communities is our relationship-based person-directed household model of care, and only a health care leader of Greg’s caliber and passion for long-term care could be entrusted to lead our health services teams,” stated Isakson. “As vice president of health care, Greg will ensure a high-quality continuum of care that provides individualized plans of care for each of our members to help them achieve their personal wellness goals.”

Awarded the 2022 GHCA Administrator of the Year, Heath has 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare and long-term care management. He most recently was responsible for the overall operations and quality of care of an Atlanta-area long-term care community with more than 200 employees, During his tenure, he spearheaded a change to the culture of care to a more person-directed model and managed two major renovations. Previously, he has held leadership positions managing multiple communities at both national and regional providers.

Heath holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. He is a certified Eden associate and is an active board member of the Georgia Healthcare Association, where he was recently elected Metro Council president.
