Test Your Skills and Spirit at the Atlanta Corporate Challenge

Thursday, September 21st, 2023

Coming this fall, the Atlanta Corporate Challenge will dominate playing fields and parks around the Atlanta BeltLine in the spirit of fun and friendly competition. The Atlanta Sport and Social Club is teaming up with the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership to host the two-week event from Oct. 16 – 27.

“Founded in unity, togetherness, and camaraderie, the inaugural Atlanta Corporate Challenge was developed as a healthy and engaging way to be active in the community,” said Kevin Cregan, president of Atlanta Sport and Social Club. “It promotes teamwork and fosters leadership within the participants’ companies as well as our city.”

Sponsored by Cox Enterprises, businesses and organizations will join together for an Olympic-inspired series of events. Each of the teams will accrue points across these core categories:

  • Competition, take on challenges in Volleyball, Kickball, Pickleball, and/or Softball

  • Charity Challenge, raise funds for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership

  • Volunteering, for those who may not be the sporting type

“We are excited for companies to connect their employees with the Atlanta BeltLine and a healthy lifestyle through the Atlanta Corporate Challenge,” said Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Executive Director Rob Brawner. “This partnership with Atlanta Sport and Social Club provides the opportunity for participants to have fun while building relationships that can be elusive with the increase in remote work.”

At the end of the competition, awards will be given to the company with the most overall points. As the ACC Champions, the team will receive a trophy, gold medals, and sponsor gifts.

Second and Third place teams will also receive their due recognition. In addition, a Team Spirit award will be bestowed upon the team that is loud, proud, and has the best spirit-wear. Finally, the Charity Challenge Award will recognize the team in each division that collectively raises the most money for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership.
