In preparation to build capacity for future growth, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is closing its South Economy Lot on Oct. 23 as it readies for construction of South Parking Deck Phase 1 on Nov. 1.

The new deck, part of ATL’s multibillion-dollar capital improvement program, will be built in the footprint of the 3,000-parking space South Economy Lot.
