Today marks a significant milestone as the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) proudly unveils a new brand logo and website redesign, marking a transformative era of change under the leadership of Labor Commissioner Bruce Thompson. The unveiling is a testament to the department's commitment to fundamental change, modernization, and establishing a people-first culture.
In tandem with the new branding, the GDOL is pleased to announce the simultaneous launch of its refreshed website, dol.georgia.gov. The redesign aims to offer a more user-friendly experience, aligning with the department's commitment to transparency, accessibility, and seamless service delivery for the people of Georgia.
"From day one of my administration, the mission has been clear – to look, feel, and be different,” said Commissioner Bruce Thompson. “The unveiling of the GDOL’s new logo and brand colors fulfills our promise to transform the department from the ground up.
“While there is much rebuilding to be done to earn back the respect and confidence of our communities, our work is never done. We are Labor. We don't stop. Whether in times of prosperity or crisis, we are here for all of Georgia, delivering financial relief to hardworking citizens when they need it most.”
Since January, the department has taken decisive and proactive actions to enhance efficiency and streamline departmental operations, achieving several significant milestones, including efforts to modernize the state's unemployment insurance system, dismantle organizational siloes, transition data to a secure, cloud-based system, and realign staff to accelerate claims processing and provide faster, more efficient service.
The modern brand identity further emphasizes the Georgia Department of Labor’s dedication to being there for all Georgians, creating an environment where workers and employers can thrive together.
