Buckhead Village announces additional holiday event line-up – now through the end of December!

 Buckhead Village is holiday-bound! With a vintage twist and “Après All Day” vibes, the property has officially swapped it’s sunny sidewalks for an Alpine lodge setting, complete with bucket-list worthy après-ski hangouts, cozy, plush decorations adorned with snowy motifs and vintage ski gear, picturesque snowy vistas, crackling fireplaces, and other vintage-heavy designs inspired by some of the world’s top luxury ski resorts. 
 
Taking the holidays mountainside, Buckhead Village’s Apres-Ski Event Series is now underway (for one last weekend!), featuring ski-lift photo ops, live music from OkCello with dance and aerial performers, seasonal food and warm beverages, festivals, and pop-ups every Saturday through December 16. The property also debuted the return of the German Christkindl Market, which is now open daily through Sunday, December 24. 
 
In addition to Après-Ski and the holiday market, Buckhead Village is also set to host a slew of holiday-themed classes, workshops and in-store celebrations throughout the season.

  • Thurs., Dec. 14, 5-7pm – Abbey Glass Holiday Market Night
Join Abbey Glass for a special sip & shop event featuring festive in-store pop-ups from brands HAPSY, CB Grey, Mae jewelry, Match South and La Point!
 
  • Now through Tues., Dec. 19 – The “12 Days of Christmas” at Frances Valentine
Now through December 19, Frances Valentine is celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas by offering a special in-store promotion each day! The lineup includes:

Dive into the world of custom permanent jewelry at the Link x Lou Pop-Up at rag & bone! Guests who book an appointment will not only walk away with a unique piece of jewelry, but will also receive 15% or more off their rag & bone purchase.
 
Guests are invited to enjoy the kid's brunch menu, an Irish Christmas storytime with Santa, photo opps with Santa and $5 Poinsettia cocktails for adults.
 
On December 16, Buckhead Village will host the High Museum for an exciting chalk art installation showcasing the works of Beatrix Potter on the sidewalk outside of the Buckhead Library. Following the installation, little ones can curl up for a cozy story time with Stylish Santa featuring a heartwarming tale by Beatrix Potter. This event is free and open to the public.
 
  • Sat., Dec. 16, Noon-12:30pm & 1-1:30pm – Santa at Carmel
This Saturday, Stylish Santa will be onsite at Buckhead Village and stopping by Carmel from 12-12:30pm and 1-1:30pm for photo ops and festive visits with guests!
 
  • Sun., Dec. 17 through Sun., Dec. 31 – Coat & Denim Drive at rag & bone
rag & bone is inviting guests to bring in any and all pre-loved coats or denim to warm up someone's holiday season. In return, clients will receive 25% off their next coat or denim purchase. 
 
Join Elyse Candles and Todd Patrick for a special two-hour candle making workshop where guests will create their very own poured soy wax candle. The class cost will cover all materials, an in-store class experience with a candle making expert and a custom-made candle with a choice of fragrance. Tickets are available for $65 here.
 
This December, the Buckhead gallery invites guests to join in some holiday cheer with a happy hour every Friday from 6-9pm. Guests can stop by for drink specials and browse the latest art collections.

Now through the end of the year, guests are invited to enjoy Pachengo’s Feliz Navidad Pop-Up Bar – a festive wonderland decked with holiday décor, music and Mexican-inspired beverages. The new concept will so be serving holiday-themed cocktails to pair with its traditional menu of tacos, enchiladas and starters such as queso blanco, tostadas and elote: 
  • Sour Grinch – Pachengo’s take on a pisco sour 
  • Abuelita Borracha – Abuelita’s hot chocolate with choice of Patron or Angel’s Envy
  • Pachengo’s Ponche – Classic Mexican party punch with choice of Patron or Angel’s Envy
  • Ornamentini – Grey Goose rosemary peach martini served in an ornament
  • Ho Ho Horchata – Santa Teresa horchata made with coconut
  • All season long – Buckhead Village invites guests to stop by and cozy up beside complimentary fire pits in The Plaza, or migrate indoors to dine at newly debuted dining destinations like Carmel, Yeppa & Co, Pachengo’s, and Brush Sushi to enjoy globally-inspired menus and toast to adventure with frosty beers, warm cocktails or steaming mugs of hot toddies.
 
APRÈS SKI AT BUCKHEAD VILLAGE – Sat., Dec. 16, Noon-7pm (last weekend of the season!)
For one last weekend, Buckhead Village is transporting guests to an Alpine paradise of winter charm and holiday cheer. Showing off its new vintage twist and “Après All Day” vibes, the property-turned-fireside lodge has revamped its beloved streets with bucket-list worthy après-ski hangouts and cozy, plush decorations adorned with snowy motifs and vintage ski gear, picturesque snowy vistas, crackling fireplaces, and other vintage-heavy designs inspired by some of the world’s top luxury ski resorts. 
 
All are welcome to escape the city for a lift to this year’s winter-meets-luxury events including:
 
  • Live DJ from Noon-4:30pm & music from OkCello from 5-7pm on Buckhead Avenue, with performances by Komansé Dance Studio and winter-themed aerial artists from Liquid Sky on alternating weekends.
 
  • ATL Girl Gang will host Members Mart pop-ups, and visitors can enjoy hot cocoa, s’mores, a rotating schedule of kid-friendly crafts, seasonal eats, themed imbibing, and in-store specials.
 
  • Work up an appetite after hitting the slopes (or relax in the lodge if that’s more your style!) with seasonal bites and beverages from Buckhead Village restaurants including hot chocolate from Saint Germain, to-go charcuterie boards from Bella Cucina, and s’mores offered from select retailers each weekend.

  • Vintage popcorn treats with The Red Popcorn Wagon
  • Holiday wreaths by Mater Day Flower Truck

  • Stylish Santa returns to roam and will be ready for photo ops in an Après-Ski themed outfit on Buckhead Avenue (Noon-4pm)and story time with the Buckhead Library at 3pm
 
  • Kids can hit “The Bunny Slope” – the official Après-Ski kid zone – on Buckhead Avenue to enjoy a rotating schedule of family-friendly arts and crafts like bottle brush trees, ski ornament making, and friendship bracelets.
 
GERMAN CHRISTKINDL MARKET – Now open daily through Sun., Dec. 24 (hours below)
Deck the halls this season with the enchanting return of the annual German Christkindl Market, a magical experience blending traditional German festivities with the vibrant spirit of Atlanta. In partnership with The German American Cultural Foundation and back for its third year, the month-long market is free and open to the public, featuring a variety of authentic culinary treats, endless selections of curated items to shop, live music, enchanting family-friendly entertainment, and of course, Santa Claus. 
 
Visitors and holiday-goers can experience the magic with drinks like German Glühwein – also known as mulled wine – hot chocolate, cider and traditional German food including pretzels, schnitzel, brats, and more. To shop, visitors can find items like hand-crafted ornaments, wooden toys, jewelry, clay and hardwood pipes, bath and body items, and much more.
 
Atlanta’s German Christkindl Market is now open daily through Sunday, December 24. Hours are 3-8pm Monday through Thursday, and 11am-9pm Friday through Sunday.
