Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Announces New Board Appointments

For immediate release. Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta (GSGATL) today announced new board leadership, the addition of three director-at-large appointments to the Board of Directors, and one committee addition. 

New leadership:  

Ellie May – The Coca-Cola Company, Vice President and Controller has moved into the role of Board of Directors – Executive Secretary. 

New appointees include: 

Kara Dutta – Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Assistant General  
Counsel, and ICE Vault LLC, General Counsel. 

Ruchi Shah – UPS, Vice President of Marketing Strategy Analysis. 

 
Andrea Smith – Scholarship USA, Vice President of Development &  
Marketing. 

New committee member: 

 

Sojourner Grimmett – Peach State Health Plan / CENTENE, Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Grimmett will serve on the Fund Development Committee.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance, fiscal oversight, and continued growth of GSGATL, which serves more than 23,000 girls in 34 counties.
