Ponce City Market Announces Do Not Disturb Will Open Spring 2024

Thursday, December 7th, 2023

Ponce City Market announces Do Not Disturb, a new restorative studio centered around the community and offering the most advanced techniques in wellness, will open next to Pancake Social spring 2024. Developed by professional athletes and brothers Brandon and Bradley Chubb, the unique concept will make elevated recovery accessible to the broader public with a suite of wellness offerings including saunas and steam rooms, float tanks, massage and chiropractor bookings, and more, allowing members to recharge, recover, and restore in a tranquil oasis. Guests will be able to reserve one-hour time blocks where they can utilize the state-of-the-art facilities based on their personal needs, or they can join with a membership for unlimited access to the broad range of benefits offered by the new studio, along with membership discounts to use at other partner businesses.

A respite from the noise of daily life, Do Not Disturb will be a place for members to recharge, both physically and mentally, whether healing their muscles and joints through the private rooms encompassing saunas, steam rooms, and cold plunge or simply taking a nap in the float tank or resting in the relaxation room. The 2,370-square-foot space is being specially designed to immerse guests into a silent and peaceful space where they can reflect, rejuvenate, and ground themselves. Do Not Disturb is founded on the principle that properly restoring the mind and body is essential to reaching one’s greatest potential, no matter an individual’s goals. While the benefits can be felt immediately after a visit, the studio is not intended to be a quick fix, but rather, an indelible solution to building a wellness routine that promotes longevity and good health.

“As a professional athlete, you’re supported by a world of high-end therapies, which accelerate and enhance recovery,“ says Do Not Disturb Founder Brandon Chubb. “My experience as an athlete and now as a busy working professional has inspired me to create this business that makes this level of recovery accessible and feasible for everyone. We’re so excited to welcome the Atlanta community into our studio.”

Marietta natives and lifelong athletes, Brandon and Bradley have played football at the collegiate and professional levels. Brandon played football and studied economics at Wake Forest University, and after graduation, he joined the LA Rams. Bradley attended NC State. In 2018, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round, and he currently plays for the Miami Dolphins.

However, after hanging up his cleats in 2019 and then going to work for the NFL Players Association and pursuing a MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Brandon noticed a void in his life. He no longer had access to all the advanced restorative therapies provided by professionals and technologies in the cutting-edge locker rooms, despite these services benefitting the body. Reeling from the mental and emotional burdens of the pandemic, consumers are now rethinking wellness as simply feeling good and making it more of a priority. Do Not Disturb was born from this idea as the solution, breaking the barrier between people and access to these innovative rejuvenation techniques, which provide a wealth of benefits mentally and physically. As the name explicitly states, the studio wants guests to simply put their bodies on ‘Do Not Disturb’ for the duration of their visits.
