Quality Care for Children Announces Additions to Its Board Of Trustees

Quality Care for Children (QCC), today announced the addition of four new members to its board of trustees. Joining Quality Care for Children’s board this year are:

  • Romvadee Overbey, Senior Director in Internet of Things Solutions with AT&T

  • Vicki Raimey, Chief Operating Officer with Credenza. Inc.

  • Angela Walton, Founder and President with Breakthrough Marketing Consulting

  • Cristel Williams, Vice President and Director of Client and Community Relations with PNC Financial Services Group

“Romvadee, Vicki, Angela and Cristel are great additions to our board and bring a variety of skills, expertise and perspectives that will help us continue supporting Georgia’s families and child care providers as they nurture and educate our youngest children,” said Quality Care for Children’s President and Chief Executive Officer Ellyn Cochran. 

Romvadee Overbey, senior director of Business Development supporting Internet of Things Solutions for AT&T, has 30 years of business experience in strategy, susiness development, and project and program management. Her experience spans across multiple industries with special expertise in Telecommunications, Retail and Consulting. Before she joined the AT&T companies, Romvadee enjoyed a successful career in consulting, and with several smaller companies focused on internet-based business models. Romvadee holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Vicki Raimey is the chief operating officer for Credenza, Inc., a digital rights management company focused on creating personalized fan experiences through blockchain technology solutions. Raimey began her career at Deloitte Consulting and most recently was with WarnerMedia. She has pioneered digital transformations by steering large-scale technology implementations, optimized business operations, and served as a trusted advisor to form and develop strategic partnerships between brands and global enterprise. Raimey is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia.

Angela Walton is the Founder and President of Breakthrough Marketing Consulting, a women-owned small business certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration, which is committed to helping nonprofits amplify their mission and drive greater social good. Before founding Breakthrough Marketing Consulting in 2016, Angela was a global and national marketing leader for The Coca-Cola Company, Georgia-Pacific, Zep, OneCare, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Ralston Purina Company. She has a proven track record of delivering results and innovation for leading consumer brands. Walton earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and her Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

 Cristel Williams, vice president and director of Client and Community Relations with PNC Financial Services Group focusing on the Georgia market. At PNC, Williams helps lead brand building activities, business development, philanthropic initiatives and community engagement efforts across the state. Williams has also held senior-level roles at the Westside Future Fund, Sheltering Arms, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, Augusta University and United Way of Greater Atlanta. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Howard University and is an alumnus of Leadership Clayton and Leadership Henry. 

Andrew Smith, an associate with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, is returning as chair of QCC’s board of trustees executive committee. Former board Vice Chair Ben Pivar, senior vice president & chief information officer with Carter’s, Inc., moves to Incoming Chair while board member Saira Joseph of SEJ Consulting LLC assumes the role of Vice Chair. Scott Lyon, senior vice president of sales with Scuba Analytics remains as treasurer and Jayson Hill, associate vice president with North Highland, returns as secretary.
