Georgia State and the World Business Angel Investment Forum Team Up to Foster Global Innovation and Financial Inclusion

Georgia State University is partnering with the World Business Angel Investment Forum on an academic collaboration to foster entrepreneurship and promote financial inclusion for students and faculty empowering them with the skills and access to resources needed to thrive in the dynamic 21st-century business landscape.

Georgia State and the World Business Angel Investment Forum’s Financial Inclusion Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding Jan. 25 to establish the collaboration.

The World Business Angel Investment Forum is an international organization dedicated to facilitating access to finance for businesses ranging from startups to scale-ups with the overarching mission to generate more jobs and promote global social justice.

“We’re excited to embark on this collaborative venture with the World Business Angel Investment Forum, leveraging their expansive global network and expertise in angel investments alongside our own portfolio of entrepreneurial initiatives and programs,” said Georgia State President M. Brian Blake. “This new relationship will contribute to the Beyond College to Careers pillar of our strategic plan by increasing our students’ exposure to the innovation economy. Together, we're poised to unlock an unparalleled potential for both organizations.”
