Goodwill of North Georgia - one of the largest retail operations & workforce training agencies in Georgia with a mission to put people to work - announces a multi-year partnership with the College Park Skyhawks to support community advancement efforts through donations that benefit workforce development and training opportunities.

The College Park Skyhawks are the official NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks. Gateway Center Arena @ College Park is a state-of-the-art 3,500-seat venue located in Metro Atlanta’s Southside.

As part of the strategic partnership, Gateway Center Arena will host three Goodwill Mobile Donation days for sports fans and community members to drop off their gently used items before they enjoy a Skyhawks game. Generous donors will also receive, as a thank you, tickets to a future Skyhawks game. Fans will also have the chance to learn more about Goodwill job training programs during the game at the mobile Goodwill career center inside the concourse.

The three Goodwill Mobile Donation days at Gateway Center Arena are: Saturday, January 27; Saturday, February 10; and Sunday, March 3.

This partnership aims to leverage the Skyhawks fanbase as well as dedicated Goodwill guests to increase donations that enhance and grow local job and career training resources. This marks the first time Goodwill of North Georgia and the Skyhawks have partnered together and see this as a transformative opportunity to reinforce their commitment to the College Park community.

"Our partnership with the College Park Skyhawks is an important piece in our mission to empower communities through sustainable workforce development resources,” said Keith Parker, CEO of Goodwill of North Georgia. “By combining Goodwill's commitment to job training and career opportunities with the Skyhawks' dynamic presence and fanbase, we're creating a unique synergy. This collaboration not only promotes the spirit of giving but also amplifies our impact in providing essential services and training to those in need."

"The alliance with Goodwill of North Georgia is more than a partnership; it's a powerful statement about our dedication to the communities we serve,”said Atlanta Hawks Vice President of NBA G League and 2K League Operations Janice Koon. “The Skyhawks are excited to offer Gateway Center Arena as a venue for Goodwill's Mobile Donation Center, providing our fans and community members a convenient way to support local workforce development. We believe that together with Goodwill, we can make a significant, positive impact on the lives of many, reinforcing our shared vision of community development and economic empowerment."
