Moore Colson Announces the Hiring of One Director and Two Senior Managers

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently hired Christina Joyner as a tax director, Heather Jackson as a business assurance senior manager and Blake Masters as a tax senior manager.
Joyner joins Moore Colson with more than 13 years of experience serving real estate and private equity clients. Before Moore Colson, she was a senior manager at KPMG in Atlanta, where she was responsible for managing and reviewing work papers, federal tax forms, including 1065 and 1120, state and local returns, and international filings. At Moore Colson, her responsibilities include tax compliance and consulting for public and large private real estate companies. Joyner received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting in Taxation from Florida State University.
Jackson joins Moore Colson with more than 17 years of experience in the professional accounting industry as an expert in researching complex accounting topics and presenting insights to clients. Before Moore Colson, she was the controller for The Landings Club in Savannah, GA. She prepared monthly financial, operational, budget and forecasting reports and analyses. At Moore Colson, her responsibilities will include preparing employee benefit plan and related Forms 5500 audits and assisting clients on compliance with Department of Labor and ERISA regulations. Jackson received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of West Georgia.
Masters joins Moore Colson with more than 15 years of experience serving small practices and large national firms in several industries, including healthcare, high-net-worth individuals and law firms.
Before Moore Colson, he was a certified public accountant at a CPA firm in Alpharetta, Georgia. Masters prepared returns for individuals, partnerships, S & C corporations, trusts, estates and tax-exempt organizations, along with gift tax returns. At Moore Colson, his responsibilities will include tax compliance and planning for public and large private company clients. Masters received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
