Wellspring Living, in collaboration with The UPS Foundation, is taking a significant stride in the fight against human trafficking. Together, they are set to unveil their collective efforts in a special episode of The Balancing Act, airing on Lifetime on January 15, 2024.

The Balancing Act episode will showcase The UPS Foundation and Wellspring Living's impactful initiatives, shedding light on the importance of collaborative efforts to combat human trafficking. Viewers will gain insight into the innovative programs, outreach, and community engagement strategies employed by the partnership.

The UPS Foundation has committed a one million investment to bolster Wellspring Living's Welcome Home campaign. This initiative facilitated the establishment of a centralized hub for Wellspring Living's youth, residential, and community-based programs on an 8-acre campus in South Fulton County, Georgia. The UPS Foundation's financial support is instrumental in the ongoing expansion of the Wellspring Living Institute, enabling the provision of signature programming and services over a three-year period. This strategic investment aims to reach a larger number of survivors nationwide.

In conjunction with The Balancing Act's special episode, Wellspring Living is coordinating a series of educational events throughout Human Trafficking Awareness Month. 

Christian Murphy, present CEO and former Deputy Director of Wellspring Living, expressed, "As we commemorate Human Trafficking Awareness Month, we urge individuals throughout our state to engage in conversations about this critical issue and take action to make a difference. The survivors we support, along with those at risk, seek the right opportunities and resources as they navigate their journey toward healing and restoration. Our community can contribute by raising awareness, participating in events, and giving back through both time and resources. Together, we can empower more women and children to experience the lives they genuinely deserve.

Wellspring Living will present a number of initiatives throughout the month that have a collective goal of increasing awareness about sex trafficking, providing the public with informative tools for personal safety, and offering insights into how everyone can contribute to the cause
