Northwest Classical Academy Hosts Annual Heritage Festival

Northwest Classical Academy (NCA) will hold its third annual Heritage Festival this Saturday, March 23 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The festival will take place on NCA’s campus, located at 3010 Cobb Parkway Northwest, Kennesaw, GA 30152.

Host families and volunteers from the school represent cultures and heritages from around the world, including India, Serbia, Ukraine, Poland, Scotland, China, Nepal, Canada, Philippines, Japan, Nigeria, Mexico, Italy, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.

Attendees can enjoy music, art, games, food, and more. Marka 2-1, a local band, will perform at the festival. A student gallery will feature work from NCA students showcasing their culture through art. A scavenger hunt will be available for students to complete while learning about the countries represented by this year’s host families.

Last year, over 400 students, parents, and other community members attended the event.

Northwest Classical Academy, located in Kennesaw, is a public charter school serving over 700 students in grades K-9. NCA will continue to expand until they reach a K-12 configuration. For more information, visit nwclassical.org.
