Cushman & Wakefield announced the commercial real estate services firm represented landlord Lionstone Investments in signing a new 164,221-square-foot office lease with Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. at 271 17th St. in Atlanta.

Aileen Almassy and John Zintak of Cushman & Wakefield represented Lionstone Investments in the lease negotiations. Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. was represented by Bo Keatley, David Rubenstein, John Flack, and Michael Broome of Savills.

“With 24-hour amenities at your doorstep and sweeping views of Atlanta, 271 17th Street offers an exceptional combination of location, energy, and ease of access.  We are proud to have partnered with Lionstone to secure a major tenant for the building,” said Aileen Almassy, Vice Chair at Cushman & Wakefield.

Located in the heart of the city’s live-work-play epicenter in Atlantic Station, 271 17th Street is a trophy Class A tower spanning 25 stories that is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and the bustling Midtown arts and entertainment district. The tower has attracted a diverse and elite tenant roster. Tenants benefit from a state-of-the-art conference center, highly efficient office floorplans, access to a free Atlantic Station MARTA shuttle, and unmatched visibility within a growing part of Atlanta.

“Lionstone invests in only a small subset of resilient U.S. office buildings that continue to perform strongly in the current market,” said Dan Dubrowski, Chairman and Co-Founder of Lionstone Investments. “We are pleased to welcome Piedmont to 271 17th Street. Their lease is evidence that while the broader market is weak, office demand is concentrating into specific buildings in micro-geographies that are still growing.”
