Mad Dad's Philly's Authentic Cheesesteaks & Hoagies, a culinary venture born from the celebrated Mad Dad's sauces and seasonings created by Chef Tony Sharpe, is thrilled to announce its new location at Halidom Eatery. This new food hall is part of a mixed-use development in Woodland Hills featuring luxury apartments, office space and the food hall.  After launching the business in a ghost kitchen in Buckhead and growing a following on Instagram, Mad Dad's Philly’s prepares to open its doors to the public this spring.

Chef Tony's remarkable recovery from a life-threatening COVID infection and their shared passion for food culminated in this venture that brings the authentic taste of Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies, along with vegan sandwiches, bowls, salads and wings, to the heart of Atlanta. Pamela and Tony Sharpe, the dynamic duo behind Mad Dad's Philly’s, infused 30 years of restaurant consulting experience into creating a space that celebrates Tony's Philadelphia roots. To provide an authentic experience and flavor, Mad Dad's Philly's imports several ingredients directly from Philly.

"The Halidom Eatery location is a game-changer for us. Operating out of a ghost kitchen meant we had to double our efforts to make our brand visible,” said Pamela Sharpe, owner/operator of Mad Dad’s Philly’s. “Being located with 10 other restaurants in the food hall at Halidom will provide us with much broader reach and brand recognition.”

Mad Dad's Philly's has already captured the hearts of Atlantans with its #2 seller, vegan sandwiches, extensive catering services, and significant Instagram following. Their new Halidom location represents a strategic move towards connecting more intimately with their client base and expanding their influence in the culinary world.

The Sharpes' commitment to the community is evident in their plans to engage with East Atlanta's youth. In May, the husband-and-wife team will host a musical trio from Indianapolis. Tony's experiences of homelessness and participation with Up with People and Job Corps in D.C. inspire the couple's dedication to giving back and inspiring the next generation.

The Sharpes are known for unique offerings like their flagship Blueberry Sriracha seasoning. As they work toward mass production of their seasonings, Mad Dad's Philly's is set on becoming a staple in Atlanta's culinary scene.

Michaela Boone of terra alma was the broker for the Mad Dad’s Philly’s Authentic Cheesesteaks & Hoagies transaction at Halidom. "Partnering with Mad Dad's on their first retail location represents more than just a business venture; it's a reflection of terra alma's commitment to nurturing local culinary talents and enriching Atlanta's food scene,” comments Boone, CFO of terra alma. “Pamela and Tony Sharpe's journey from overcoming personal challenges to bringing authentic Philly flavors to our city is truly inspiring. We are thrilled to support Mad Dad's transition from a ghost kitchen to a brick-and-mortar presence in Halidom.”

The Halidom Eatery is located in Southeast Atlanta off Moreland Avenue, just five minutes from downtown Atlanta, two minutes from I-20, and three minutes North of I-675 and I-285. For more information on Mad Dad’s Philly’s, visit https://maddadsphillys.com.
