Biography Information of speakers:

Dr. Vincent Magnini is the Executive Director of the Institute for Service Research.  He was ranked as one of the top 12 most prolific hospitality researchers worldwide in the most recently published global ranking study.  Further, he is a U.S. Fulbright Scholar.  He has (co)authored seven books and more than 250 articles and reports.  Dr. Magnini has also been featured on National Public Radio’s (NPR) All Things Considered, With Good Reason, Pulse on the Planet and cited in the New York Times and Washington Post.

Dr.Muzzo Uysal is a Provost professor and Carney Family Endowed Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management - Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Uysal has extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality field and has conducted workshops and seminars in more than 25 countries. He is a member of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism and the Academy of Leisure Sciences.  He has also authored and co-authored a significant number of research articles, monographs, and books.  Dr. Uysal has also received over 30 awards and recognitions.  Most recently, Dr. Uysal was recognized as one of the world’s most highly quoted researchers under the category of Social Sciences in 2021, 2022, and 2023. His current research interests focus on tourism development and quality-of-life research in tourism and hospitality settings

Dr. Soon-Ho Kim is program director of the Master of Global Hospitality Management at the Robinson College of Business. His research interests center on consumer behavior in tourism and hospitality industry. His research appears in several leading journals including International Journal of Hospitality ManagementJournal of Travel and Tourism MarketingInternational Journal of Tourism ResearchAsia Pacific Journal of Tourism ResearchInternational Journal of Sport Management, and the Journal of Vacation Marketing. He is also licensed Q Grader by Specialty Coffee Association of America since 2013.

Dr. Greg Ramshaw is a Professor in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at Clemson University. His research explores the creation and interpretation of cultural heritage, primarily at tourism sites. His recent books include Heritage and Sport: An Introduction (Channel View, 2020) and Baseball and Cultural Heritage (University Press of Florida, 2022).

Recognized as an emerging leader by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, she has empowered over 60 hotel owners and investors, driving industry innovation. As co-host of the "NextGen in Lodging" podcast, Davonne delves into the dynamic hospitality landscape. Her entrepreneurial drive led to the creation of a crowdfunding platform and the Stay Black Experience, championing Black-owned hotels. Beyond her professional accolades, Davonne finds fulfillment in motherhood to her 4-year-old son, adding a unique perspective to her journey.
