YWCA Greater Atlanta's Salute to Women of Achievement Luncheon Planned for Thursday, April 18

YWCA Greater Atlanta will host its annual Salute to Women of Achievement on April 18, honoring extraordinary women who embody our mission and are making a difference in this community. The event will include inducting the 40th class to the Academy of Women Achievers. This year’s inductees will be PAIGE ALEXANDER, CEO, The Carter Center; DEISHA BARNETT, President of Global Communications, UPS;GINA ESPINOSA-MELTZER,CEO, Hope Beckham Espinosa Inc.; CHANEL FRAZIER, Managing Director, Blackrock; JULIA HOUSTON, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, Equifax; KAYE HUSBANDS FEALING, Dean and Ivan Allen Junior Chair, Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, Georgia Institute of Technology; AYESHA KHANNA, Managing Director, CARE Enterprises; LAUREN KOONTZ, President and CEO, YMCA of Metro Atlanta; MAYA PENN, CEO, Maya's Ideas LLC; and APRIL ROSS, Executive Director, Georgia Commission on Family Violence. Since its inception in 1984, the YWCA Greater Atlanta Academy of Women Achievers has grown to include more than 300 women who are making a difference in the Greater Atlanta community.  

Registration and networking will begin at 11 a.m., with the luncheon starting at noon. The event will beheld at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis. The program will include remarks from Board Chair Jennifer Winn and President and CEO Danita V. Knight. A special surprise Woman of Achievement will be announced and inducted into the Academy at the event.
