Encompass Health Corp. and Piedmont announced today the start of construction for the future joint-venture rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta. The 40-bed hospital will be built inside of the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital as a hospital-in-hospital structure and is expected to begin caring for patients in spring 2024.
