Atlanta Metro Area Income Down from End of Recession

The Atlanta metro area's 2013 median household income ($55,733) decreased since 2010, the first full year after the last recession, when it was $56,850 in 2013 dollars, according to new statistics released today from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, the nation's most comprehensive data source on American households.

Governor Breaks Ground on Northwest Corridor Project

GHA Reports Economic Impact of Georgia’s Hospitals

The Georgia Hospital Association released a report today regarding the economic impact of the state’s hospitals. Based on a study completed by the American Hospital Association and updated with the most current economic multipliers available from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, United States Department of Commerce, GHA’s report estimates that Georgia’s hospitals and health systems contribute $40 billion to the economy of the state.
