Tuesday, December 7th, 2021
Yasmine Murray, H. J. Russell & Company’s most senior female executive and second in command, appears on We Build: The Podcast to offer words of wisdom and jewels for success. Originally from St. Lucia, she shares the childhood story that inspired her to want to pursue law and is transparent about where her notable work ethic comes from and what motivates her to always take advantage of every open door. She shares why she sees it as part of her purpose to support other women and women of color and lends some light on where she sees Russell expanding its footprint into the future.
“At H. J. Russell & Company, I’m a part of the business discussions, a part of the strategy, even when I was a paralegal,” said Murray. “They’ve really allowed me to earn a seat at the table. They really value my opinions, my thoughts, and my recommendations. I’m a trusted advisor, and not just around legal things, but about business decisions.”
You can listen to the interview with Murray on We Build: The Podcast, hosted by Paul Bryant, VP of External Affairs and Lonoia Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing for H. J. Russell & Company here or on one of your favorite podcast apps.
