Jackson Spalding, one of the nation’s leading public relations and marketing agencies, announced numerous strategic moves related to its senior leadership team, including a new partner.

Chowning Aguilera, who started at the agency in 2018, joined the Jackson Spalding ownership team.

“Chowning’s addition as an agency partner continues to propel us as a strong, independent agency. When we founded Jackson Spalding in 1995, we made independence a foundation of the agency so that we are accountable to our clients, fellow team members and our communities,” said co-founder Glen Jackson. “Chowning’s deep business leadership, partnered with her strategic acumen and empathy for clients and colleagues alike, make her a wonderful addition.”

Aguilera leads Jackson Spalding’s client advisory discipline where she is responsible for managing and growing client relationships, ensuring Jackson Spalding clients receive the maximum value from a partnership that meets their deepest business challenges. She most recently was head of marketing for a disruptive technology company after more than a decade running a national marketing and communications agency focused on the healthcare market.

Further bolstering the agency’s leadership group, longtime Turner Broadcasting System executive Justin Williams joined Jackson Spalding to head up the agency’s growing digital marketing group. Williams’ digital and performance marketing background includes product development, data analytics, market segmentation and more. He spent the bulk of his prior marketing career in the media business, with long stints at Turner, now Warner Bros. Discovery (Cartoon Network, Turner Sports/NASCAR.com, TBS/TNT), followed by several years running his own strategic consulting firm.

“Justin is going to be transformative for our digital business, bringing decades of multichannel marketing experience that often has extended into strategic business consulting. His natural orientation around broader business goals will serve our clients and teams extremely well,” said Jackson Spalding partner Randall Kirsch.

Rounding out Jackson Spalding’s leadership hires is Monica Corbett, who recently joined the agency to lead its award-winning health practice. Corbett most recently served as senior manager of communications at GoFundMe, leveraging her strategic communications expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment. She also spent nearly two decades focused on integrated communications for a wide range of health-related clients, including the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Hospital Association, where she also led trade, advocacy and grassroots communications.
