With remote work still an option for many Americans, we wanted to see exactly what the recipe for a great remote city is. Among the 54 cities in our analysis, Atlanta came out 1^st as the city that best sets up remote workers for success.

Here are more findings from our report:

• With 24 shared office spaces per 100K residents, Atlanta ranks 1^st for the density of coworking places among our top 10 entries.

• Additionally, Atlanta boasts the highest availability of public Wi-Fi networks per 100,000 residents, which allows for maximum flexibility for freelancers and remote workers alike.

• The city also ranks high for its local internet speed – 2^nd place with 468.8 Mb/s – as well as its enticing entertainment scene – 3^rd place, boasting 682 such establishments per 100K residents.

• Overall, southern cities have the highest number of entries in the top 10, due to their lower cost of living and unrivalled entertainment scene.
