Quest Community Development Corporation has launched the Westside Wise Podcast, thanks to a $100,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation. The podcast aims to connect Westside residents with news, information and resources impacting the Westside community.

Hosted by Quest President & CEO Leonard Adams and Director of Community Building & Engagement Ebony Ford, the Westside Wise Podcast brings like-minded business and community leaders together to discuss and identify solutions to the various challenges facing the Westside community. Topics that will be discussed on the podcast include bridging the digital divide, socially equitable housing, advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, banking and financial services, food access, and other relevant topics impacting the Westside community.

Located in the heart of Atlanta's Westside, Quest is a Comprehensive Community Development Corporation that provides equitable housing, health and social resources for residents of Atlanta’s Westside. With a mission to create resilient communities and foster social equity through collaboration and service integration, the Westside Wise Podcast connects Westside residents with resources and information they need to thrive.

“We are grateful for AT&T’s support of Quest and the Westside Wise Podcast as we aim to connect with and inform residents about issues impacting them,” said Leonard Adams. “The Westside Wise Podcast is a vehicle to create conversations that will help elevate the quality of life for the community and better understand both the perspective of the community and other stakeholders who support the Westside.”

New episodes are available every Wednesday at www.QuestCDC.org/Wise. The first two episodes feature Venessa Harrison, president of AT&T Southeast Coastal States, with a discussion about AT&T’s efforts to close the digital divide.

“At AT&T, we are committed to creating connections – for our customers, our communities and our employees,” said Venessa Harrison, president of AT&T Southeast Coastal States. “We believe in investing in organizations that are building stronger communities, and the Westside Wise Podcast is another example of how Quest is bringing the community together for meaningful discussions that will move the Westside, and Atlanta, forward.”

“Our goal with the Westside Wise Podcast is not merely to inform, but to encourage action,” said Ford. “It is our hope that this podcast will engage residents in uplifting the community in which they live and share in the excitement and enthusiasm generated by these discussions.”
