Billboard Magazine, a leading source of music and entertainment news, has recognized the Fox Theatre as the second-highest-grossing theatre in the nation with a seating capacity of 5,000 or less. This year, the Fox Theatre stood out among its competition and won Atlanta’s Best Performing Arts Theatre and Best Live Theatre. |
2023 was a banner year for the Fox Theatre, amassing over $40 million in gross ticket sales and hosting over 500,000 devoted live entertainment fans. These remarkable numbers accent the Fox Theatre's economic strength and indispensable role in sustaining Atlanta's cultural landscape. From sold out Broadway in Atlanta and Comedy shows, to full capacity Rock and R&B concerts, it is evident how adored the Fox Theatre really is. |
Broadway brought standout shows that flourished including MJ the Musical and The Wiz which were both sold out engagements with standing room only. Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta’s presentation of WICKED once again attracted droves of excited theatregoers to the four-week engagement from July 5 to July 30, 2023. In total, the musical welcomed more than 116,000 patrons and generated a local economic impact of over $30 million. |

The Fox Theatre's exciting year isn't over yet, as their annual 3-night New Year's Eve run with jam band Widespread Panic approaches.
