Signia by Hilton Atlanta Unveils Elevated Culinary Concepts

Signia by Hilton Atlanta, Atlanta’s largest downtown, ground-up hotel development project in 40 years, has unveiled details on the property’s eight food and beverage offerings centered around Georgia's rich Southern history. The 976-room hotel is expected to debut in January 2024 and will introduce a diverse variety of concepts, including three full-service restaurants and three bars, each helmed by a team of talented chefs. Highlights include Capolinea, an Italian-inspired kitchen; Nest on Four, an upscale sports bar; Homespun, a Southern breakfast destination; Highball, a pool bar featuring craft cocktails and Southern picnic favorites; and more, in addition to in-room dining and Club Signia, a private lounge experience. The variety of food and beverage offerings complement more the hotel’s more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space and world class amenities, making it the perfect destination for all types of stays and gatherings.

At the helm of the hotel’s culinary team are Director of Food and Beverage Jacob Linzey, who oversees all food and beverage operations, including catering and events; Executive Chef Christian Quiñones, who leads the hotel’s expansive culinary team and is responsible for everything from concepts to community engagement; and Executive Pastry Chef Daniella Lea Rada, who leads an all-female pastry team, is responsible for conceptualizing and preparing all house-made desserts, pastries, chocolates and more. Signia by Hilton Atlanta’s beverage and wine programs are led by Director of Beverage Evan Sewell and Sommelier Marvella Castañeda, respectively.

Capolinea

Italian for "Terminus,” also the city of Atlanta’s original settlement name, Capolinea, is the hotel’s signature Italian and contemporary American fine-dining restaurant led by Executive Sous Chef Jeuel Ortiz. Located on the hotel’s fourth floor, Capolinea is a destination within itself, offering a buzzy bar scene, expansive and wrap-around skyline views, and an adjacent outdoor terrace. Guests can look forward to regional and locally sourced antipasti, delectable handmade pasta, prime-cut steaks, nostalgic dishes from parmigiana to Bolognese, tableside martini service, and for a sweet ending, house-made seasonal gelato and sorbet. Capolinea will offer an inspired experience with modern sensibilities and old-world charm featuring al fresco dining and a private dining room.

Nest on Four

Named after the famed Peregrine Falcons, who sit atop Atlanta's skyscrapers, Nest on Four is an elevated sports bar offering a perch overlooking Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, led by Chef Andreas Mueller. Situated in an upscale gastropub atmosphere with a halo board of TVs, this next-level bar experience will offer reimagined stadium favorites, from duck sausage hot dogs to mini milkshakes and peach hand pies, featuring ingredients from regional purveyors. Dishes are complemented by more than 25 beers on tap, local wines, top-shelf spirits and non-alcoholic options. 

Homespun

Paying homage to the South's devotion to quilting, Homespun celebrates Georgia's roots and farm-fresh flavors with a modern twist. Also overseen by Chef Andreas Mueller, this breakfast destination will feature the state's best culinary traditions with beautifully prepared and scrumptious dishes. From signature Fried Chicken Biscuits to elevated dishes like French Toast Fluffernutter and Creole Tomato Shakshuka, Homespun honors Southern cuisine, where every flavor tells a story in unexpected ways.

Highball

Overlooking Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Highball is the hotel’s seasonal pool bar. It will represent Atlanta's newest warm-weather social scene, offering a bright and lively atmosphere with fun, lighthearted Southern picnic fare curated by Chef Andreas Mueller. Guests can look forward to sipping fresh seasonal selections of craft cocktails high above Atlanta, including a signature “Cobbler” cocktail and spirit-free options. Referencing the city's railway history by name, Highball’s name is synonymous with a train signal action to operate a train at full speed. Guests can bask in the sun or unwind with a cocktail poolside while taking in the Atlanta sunset. 

Friendship Market

Named after the city’s historic Friendship Baptist Church, one of the most significant African-American churches and a prominent spot for influential leaders, the open and airy Friendship Market is an inviting all-day cafe and boutique market. Here, guests can find La Colombe Coffee, grab-and-go essentials and a curated selection of Atlanta favorites from locally owned businesses, including fresh crudité, beverages, chef-curated cheese boards, and more, led by Chef Daniel Palaima. 

The Lobby Bar at Signia

Guests can find their rhythm at this sleek, 88-seat destination bar, featuring music that weaves in Atlanta's rich history as an entertainment epicenter, playing jazz era and contemporary soul music. Located just past Signia by Hilton Atlanta’s expansive entrance, Lobby Bar is the perfect place for a business deal, space to relax for evening drinks, or celebrate with post-work cocktails. Guests will enjoy both classic cocktails and cocktails with a twist, along with an inventive, shareable menu paired perfectly by Chef Daniel Palaima.

Club Signia

Signia by Hilton Atlanta will also introduce Club Signia, a signature guest experience that redefines southern hospitality. When choosing a Club Signia room or suite while booking, guests gain a multitude of extras, including a dedicated Club Ambassador, enhanced room offerings access to an exclusive lounge with unique and customized food and beverage options, including chef demonstrations under the direction of Chef Daniel Palaima. 

Banquets & Events

For meetings and events, the hotel’s event venues blend spaces that encourage congregation with visually stunning food and inventive drinks that feel familiar yet elevated. The extensive menu includes cuisines that reflect the spirit of Atlanta and will energize attendees throughout the day, from a hearty breakfast to chef dinner demonstrations and everything in between. Director of Banquets Michael Woods and Executive Sous Chef Ajay Chaudhari will lead this impressive team.

As part of the hotel’s commitment to honoring regional flavors, Signia by Hilton Atlanta will source produce and ingredients for its food and beverage outlets from several regional and local purveyors including The Spotted Trotter, Ellijay Mushrooms, Engelman's Bakery, among others. 

Owned by Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Signia by Hilton Atlanta will offer direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center via a pedestrian walkway and is located steps from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.
