Hartsfield-Jackson Unveils 2023 Environmental, Social, Governance and Prosperity Report

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) announced the release of its 2023 Environmental, Social, Governance and Prosperity (ESG+P) report, entitled “Future Forward.” This comprehensive report details ATL’s dedicated efforts to manage environmental and social risks, implement effective governance, and drive economic prosperity, continuing its role as the largest economic engine for the region.

“’Future Forward’ represents a pivotal year for ATL, as we not only continued our journey as the world’s busiest airport but also made significant advances in our sustainability and resilience initiatives,” said Airport Interim General Manager Jan Lennon. “This report underscores our commitment to transparency and our proactive approach in fostering a prosperous future for our community and the planet.”

Dr. Quinta Warren, ATL Director of Sustainability, stated, “In 2023, our initiatives significantly contributed to ATL’s sustainability goals. The 2023 ESG+P report, which spans Calendar Year 2023, and Fiscal Year 2023 for Prosperity data, showcases ATL’s strategy and achievements across several key areas:
