Ser Familia Unveils $10M New Headquarters in Kennesaw

Ser Familia hosted a “sneak peek” of its new $10 million office building in Kennesaw on Saturday, August 24. Guests included donors, partners, friends and media.
Ser Familia, which helps families deal with issues such as mental health and domestic violence, is one of the largest Hispanic social service organizations in Georgia.
“We envision this space becoming a home for our Latino families in Cobb County and a place of healing and hope,” said Belisa Urbina, CEO and co-founder of Ser Familia. “We are being very careful and deliberate when planning the future of this space as we understand the importance of what we are building here. We want our friends, donors and partners to dream with us.”
Ser Familia purchased the 84,000-square-foot building earlier this year. The building, formerly occupied in part by construction company Brasfield & Gorrie, is located in Barrett Summit, 1990 Vaughn Road, Kennesaw.
The two-story building contains more than 150 private offices for Ser Familia staff as well as several large multi-purpose rooms, a workout room and more than 400 parking spaces. It dwarfs the nonprofit’s current 10,000-square-foot building in Kennesaw, which it has occupied since 2020.
Ser Familia has four other offices in Metro Atlanta (Norcross, College Park, Lawrenceville and Smyrna) and one more in Puerto Rico.
