The College Football Hall of Fame, celebrating its 10th anniversary in Atlanta this month, announced today that Aflac, a leading provider of supplemental health insurance in the U.S., has joined the Hall of Fame’s impressive roster of sponsors as the Official Supplemental Insurance Provider. Additionally, the Georgia-based company will be the title sponsor of the “Military and Football Exhibit,” an interactive and moving tribute to our U.S. Service Academies, Senior Military Academies, and the Hall of Famers who bravely served our country.

“We are honored to have Aflac, an iconic Fortune 500 company headquartered in Georgia, as a new partner. Their support allows us to pay proper tribute to our U.S. Military and its unique intersection with college football through this brand-new exhibit,” said Kimberly Beaudin, President and CEO of the College Football Hall of Fame. “We hope all visitors will leave with a deeper appreciation of this long-standing bond between these American institutions.”

As part of the Hall’s overarching 10th anniversary renovations and upgrades, “Military and Football” is an all-new exhibit displaying unique and priceless artifacts from our U.S. Service Academies, Senior Military Academies, and Hall of Fame Inductees who served in the military. Guests will see a helmet signed by Army’s three Heisman Trophy winners, the Coast Guard Medal of Honor Uniform, a Pat Tillman Memorial Uniform, and much, much more.

“Having served as a U.S. Marine, I know firsthand the importance of honor, courage, and commitment. The Military and Football Exhibit is not only a tribute to our brave servicemen and women, but also a reflection of the principles that guide our company,” said Aflac U.S. President Virgil Miller. “At Aflac, we are committed to helping provide financial protection and peace of mind to help our policyholders focus on their recovery. Through this exhibit, we honor our military and celebrate how football brings people from all backgrounds together.”

Additional focal points of the new exhibit include an 18ft x 12ft video collage of stadium flyovers set to the National Anthem, five mannequins donning split uniforms, half military dress and half football uniform, representing the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy, and the 170-pound Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy.

The College Football Hall of Fame is currently open Wednesday through Monday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., with General Admission tickets available online here, or at the Box Office until 4:30 p.m. on days of operation. For more information, please visit cfbhall.com.
