In a time when Gen Z faces challenges connecting with career opportunities and community, RE:IMAGINE offers a new path forward. On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, RE:IMAGINE will celebrate its decade-long impact with Soul of Storytelling, an inspiring evening of networking, interactive storytelling, and film screenings at Plywood located at 933 Lee St SW #B1, Atlanta, GA 30310. Tickets are $20, including a drink and light bites, with doors open from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Partnering with Atlanta Influences Everything, this special event highlights RE:IMAGINE’s mission to uplift young creatives—especially Gen Z men and women who often feel sidelined in today’s economy. With increased dropout rates and a sense of disconnect from traditional education and employment pathways, many Gen Zers are seeking meaningful ways to enter the workforce. Over the past two years, RE:IMAGINE has directly addressed this need, helping over 700 Atlanta-area students gain career exposure and over 200 secure paid work experience in creative industries.

“Our apprentices are reshaping the creative industry narrative,” remarked Julie Straw, Executive Director of RE:IMAGINE. “Through partnerships with major names like NBC Universal, Warner Bros. Discovery, and United Way of Greater Atlanta, our Gen Z team is not just breaking into the industry—they’re leading with fresh perspectives and voices.”

Event Highlights:

  • Interactive Storytelling Experiences: Dive into hands-on sessions that bring storytelling to life.

  • Short Film Screenings: View works produced by RE:IMAGINE’s apprentices and gain insight into the next generation’s perspective on creativity and culture.

  • Special Guests: Engage with Bem Joiner of Atlanta Influences Everything and local filmmakers for discussions on Atlanta’s thriving creative scene.

RE:IMAGINE’s employment social enterprise, RE:IMAGINE/PRODUCTIONS, exemplifies its commitment to providing real-world experience. Gen Z apprentices work alongside industry professionals on projects for Atlanta’s most notable organizations, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and direct mentorship.

Join us in celebrating 10 years of positive impact and the next generation of creative industry leaders. Be part of the solution by supporting RE:IMAGINE’s mission to give Gen Z a voice, skillset, and career path in an industry ready for new talent.
