In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities Day, December 3rd, LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta welcomed children with disabilities and their immediate families to enjoy a day of play at the Discovery Center completely complimentary. Families enjoyed being some of the first guests to experience the holiday event, Holiday Bricktacular, along with getting creative with LEGO builds in the Master Model Builder Academy, riding Kingdom Quest to get the highest score, building LEGO spaceships, cars and so much more.  

General Manager of LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta, Jamica Butler, said "We are so excited to welcome families for International Day of Persons with Disabilities Day and help them build amazing memories." 

This holiday season local families can continue to celebrate the giving season by building the best holiday memories during LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta’s seasonal event, Holiday Bricktacular, featuring the new Build to Give experience. From now– December 31st, families can enjoy a winter wonderland of activities, see a life-sized LEGO reindeer, meet and greet with a LEGO Gingerbread character and more. 

LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta, operated by Merlin Entertainments, will have a brand-new event experience called Build to Give where families can create joy in the biggest ever donation of LEGO® sets to children in need by building a LEGO heart. A dedicated area in the attraction will inspire guests with various heart designs and inspire families to build LEGO hearts. When that heart is shared on social media with the hashtag #BuildToGive, LEGO® will donate a set to a child in need this holiday season.

• Seasonal Scavenger Hunt - Spot our elf, who will be hiding somewhere new in our attraction every day!  
• Meet LEGO holiday characters like the LEGO Gingerbread!
