Influential Leaders of Atlanta Join Board of Directors for Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation announces key influential leaders to join the 2025 Board of Directors. The list includes wide representation from an array of top industry executives and leaders, including notable names such as former Atlanta Mayor, Shirley Franklin, Atlanta Beltline CEO, Clyde Higgs, Atlanta Regional Commission Executive Director and CEO, Anna Roach, and City of Atlanta Public Safety Chair, Council Member Andrea Boone. 

“In Atlanta’s group project, non-profits like the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation are key partners in ensuring that modernizing our critical services, like those provided by Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, are not solely funded by tax dollars,” said Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. “Congratulations to this distinguished group of leaders now serving on the Board, and our Administration looks forward to working with you in supporting our AFRD personnel.”

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation is the singular nonprofit organization legislatively created by City Council in 2004 to support the professional and personal needs of Atlanta Firefighters; providing critical resources and funding for the brave women and men of AFRD - commonly referred to as Atlanta’s Bravest.
