The Council for Quality Growth, in partnership with the Douglas County Chamber and Douglas County Government, will host the 2025 State of Douglas County Address on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Douglasville Conference Center, presented by Amazon. The lunch will feature the annual address from Douglas County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Dr. Romona Jackson Jones. Over 300 Council and Chamber members, elected officials, businesses, residents, county staff, and partners of Douglas County are expected to attend on Wednesday.

 The Council’s State of Douglas County annually convenes the county’s business community with its local government bodies, as well as with other local leaders from across the region. Chairwoman Dr. Romona Jackson Jones will deliver the State of Douglas County address to present achievements and projects from the last year, in addition to an outlook for what’s ahead in 2025.

The Council for Quality Growth works with Douglas County and its local municipalities year-round to advocate for our members doing business in those areas. “The Council for Quality Growth commends the county’s vision for such a robust economic landscape,” said Michael E. The 2025 State of Douglas will also feature remarks from Douglas County’s Chief Communications Officer, Yvette Jones, Douglas County Chamber’s President & CEO, Sara Ray, and Chair, Trevor Quander, Area Manager for Georgia Power. Terreta Rodgers, Head of Community Affairs for the Atlanta Region at Amazon, will give remarks as the event’s presenting sponsor and Danny Johnson, Director of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District, will deliver an update on behalf of the district.
