Florida Engineering Group Joins Thomas & Hutton to Expand Presence in Florida

Florida Engineering Group, Inc. (FEG), a well-established civil engineering firm in Orlando, Florida, joins Thomas & Hutton (T&H), a Southeast-based consulting firm. Orlando is T&H’s first Florida location market and enhances its opportunities to serve clients across the commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, and residential sectors.
Founded in 1993, FEG successfully completed projects throughout Florida, Georgia, and internationally in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. With FEG, Thomas & Hutton now operates across six states: Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida.

Sam Sebaali, PE - Regional Director, Orlando
Founder of FEG and a practicing engineer since 1985, Sam is a recognized leader in stormwater management with prior experience with Southwest Florida Water Management District. He now leads T&H’s Orlando operations, focusing on regional growth, client relationships, and project delivery. Sam holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Louisiana Tech University, an MBA from Saint Leo University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, as well as a Certified General Contractor in Florida.
Jean Abi-Aoun, PE - Civil Department Manager, Orlando
FEG’s Vice President and partner, Jean brings over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and land development. He now serves as Civil Department Manager for the Orlando office, with a focus on quality design and execution. Jean earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a master’s degree in finance from Webster University. Jean is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida with diverse engineering and management experience in private land development and municipal work.
