Ocean, a student at Atlanta Technical College studying cybersecurity, is proof of what’s possible when foster youth get the support they need. He entered Georgia’s foster care system at age 13 and moved from home to home without much stability. By 18, he was on his own—dealing with homelessness while trying to finish high school and figure out what came next.

Things changed when Ocean connected with a supportive family and discovered FaithBridge Foster Care and the Fostering Success Act. The organizations provided help with housing, education, transportation, and other basic needs, giving him the foundation to focus on school and his future. Today, he’s not only succeeding in college but also exploring his passion for fashion and creative design.
