Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, one of the nation’s top 100 commercial insurance brokers, has announced the hire of Client Advisor Martin Stephenson. Martin is based in the company’s Atlanta office where he will concentrate on general commercial lines. 

A native of Atlanta, Martin attended Westminster before graduating from Woodberry Forest School.  He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Southern Methodist University. 

Martin has two decades of experience in the sports and entertainment industry with a focus on corporate partnerships.  After working with the Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers, he spent 15 years with the PGA TOUR, working his way from Sales Manager to Tournament Director of the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club.  Most recently, he spent three years with Clemson University Athletics as Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.  

“I’ve spent my entire career earning the trust of my partners to create unique solutions to help them achieve their goals,” said Stephenson. “My work with SSP will be no different; I will just be using different tools.”

As an active member of his community, Martin serves on the board for several organizations including the Atlanta Alumni Group for Woodberry Forest School, Buckhead Baseball, and the football committee for the Northside Youth Organization.
