Monday, March 9th, 2026
Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson delivered the 2026 Gwinnett State of the County Address presented by Amazon, Atlas, and Axis. The event gathered more than 1,100 business and community leaders to reflect on the County’s progress and outline priorities for the year ahead. Hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber and the Council for Quality Growth, the annual address continues a decades-long tradition of public-private collaboration to drive economic prosperity across the region.
“The Gwinnett State of the County reflects what sets our community apart — a strong, public-private partnership,” said Chairwoman Hendrickson. “For more than three decades, Gwinnett County, the Gwinnett Chamber, and the Council for Quality Growth have worked together to uphold high standards for workforce growth, access to opportunity, and economic vitality. As we build on our deep roots and continued growth, we remain focused on shaping a future that is innovative, competitive, and globally connected.”
For 38 years, the Gwinnett Chamber and the Council for Quality Growth have partnered to provide a platform that aligns business and government leadership around long-term economic strategy, infrastructure investment, and quality growth.
“Gwinnett’s strength lies in its ability to connect business leadership with public policy in a way that drives measurable results,” shared Nick Masino, President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “The State of the County is more than an event; it is a strategic representation of business and government aligning to ensure Gwinnett remains accessible and well positioned for long-term prosperity.”
Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth, added, “Gwinnett continues to demonstrate how thoughtful planning, infrastructure investment, and responsible development create sustainable growth, and that – at its heart – is the very mission of the Council.”
The Gwinnett Chamber will host its next signature event, the Valor Awards, recognizing the dedication and service of Gwinnett’s public safety professionals. Event details and registration are available at GwinnettChamber.org/Valor-Awards.
