Fulton County Invests $1 Million in Support of Legacy Arts Organizations

During their March 18 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved $1 million in funding for five legacy arts organizations. This funding will provide recurring support for operations, programming, and expanded services that benefit residents across Fulton County and strengthen access to arts and cultural experiences.
“Fulton County is intentional about investing in programs and organizations that strengthen our communities and enhance quality of life for our residents,” said Dr. Pamela Roshell, Fulton County Chief Operating Officer. “This funding reflects a continued commitment to sustaining arts and cultural programming that supports engagement and access throughout Fulton County.”
Each organization will receive $200,000 to support ongoing programming and community-based services, including:
- Bear Creek Nature Center, Chattahoochee Hills
- Chattahoochee Nature Center, Roswell
- Hammonds House, Inc., Atlanta
- National Black Arts Festival, Atlanta
- The Art Center, Inc., Johns Creek

The approved contracts support environmental education, arts and cultural programming, and community-based services across Fulton County. Together, these efforts serve as cultural anchors, providing consistent opportunities for residents.
