Aflac Kickoff Game Announces Game Day Events for Fans

Fans will have a game day filled with free activities around Mercedes-Benz Stadium before attending this year’s Aflac Kickoff Game between Baylor and Auburn on Saturday, Sept. 5. Fans can attend an outdoor extravaganza at Tailgate Town Presented by PNC andTeam Walks to celebrate the start of the season in Atlanta.
Tailgate Town Presented by PNC is the ultimate pregame tailgate destination for Baylor and Auburn fans on game day. Located in International Plaza just outside Gates Two and Three of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, fans can enjoy live entertainment, food and interactive activations, as well as a variety of contests and giveaways from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET.
The Aflac Fan Experience at Tailgate Town offers fans the chance to test their football skills at the Combine Challenge, play trivia for chance to win game day prizes and learn about Aflac's support of the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Guests can cool off in the lounge with shaded seating and refreshing misters before taking home a commemorative Aflac Kickoff Game plush duck.
SEC Nation and The Paul Finebaum Show Presented by Johnsonville will both be live from Tailgate Town outside Gate Two of Mercedes-Benz Stadium bringing fans all the insight ahead of the weekend’s games and offering fans a chance to watch the broadcasts live and in-person.
Saturday’s coverage begins with the 13th season of SEC Nation from 9 a.m. to noon ET featuring new host Matt Barrie along with Tim Tebow, Roman Harper, Paul Finebaum, Chase Daniel and Marion Crowder.
Prior to game day, The Paul Finebaum Show will be live on Friday, Sept. 4, from 3-7 p.m. ET.
Fans will also have the opportunity to cheer on their team during Team Walks where players from both teams will make their traditional team walks from The Home Depot Backyard into Mercedes-Benz Stadium a couple of hours before kickoff. Team buses will arrive and an area that stretches into the stadium will be sectioned off so that fans, cheerleaders and team marching bands can welcome the teams.
The Bears and Tigers will then face off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Gates will open two hours prior to kickoff at 1:30 p.m. ET.
