Atlanta Leaders Honored For Commitment To Fighting Hunger

Friday, May 2nd, 2014

The Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) is honoring the incredible volunteer groups which dedicate many hours to help support the Food Bank's mission to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering the community.

Whether they sort cans in the Product Rescue Center, restock shelves at Kids In Need, tend to fresh produce in the Community Gardens or help at a special event, ACFB volunteers are a large part of the organization's success every year.

The celebration includes the announcement of this year's Atlanta Community Food Bank Volunteer Service Award winners, highlighting these groups' outstanding service to ACFB and the community. Award winners were honored at a May 1 luncheon.
