State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler will participate in a conference on Globalism in Today’s Workforce Thursday, May 29, at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta. The commissioner is scheduled to speak on Georgia’s Workforce Initiatives and Progress at 12:30 p.m.   

The conference is sponsored by The Center for Governmental Services at Auburn University and will focus on economic trends in an international market. It will feature a number of speakers and panelists discussing international markets and how to use technology, business, government, and education to create and sustain jobs.

In addition to Auburn University’s Center for Governmental Services, co-sponsors are the Georgia Institute of Technology and Global Atlanta, an international business news source.
