The Georgia Department of Labor’s Gwinnett Career Center is open to provide full service to customers. The center reopened Friday after being closed for repairs.

The career center is located at 2211 Beaver Ruin Road, Suite 160, Norcross. The office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The facility has been closed since Feb. 24 for repairs for water and roof damage. During the closure, career center customers were able to receive a full range of services, including resume writing, applying for jobs, filing claims for unemployment insurance (UI), and attending UI appeals hearings at other career centers in the area. Also, customers were able to file UI claims, search for jobs, and get other assistance online at www.employgeorgia.com.

The landlord, Northwestern Gwinnett County Facilities Corporation I in Buford, was responsible for making the repairs.
